On this journey, you’ll explore everything from the majestic landscapes of northern Madagascar to the serene scenery of the islands in the Mozambique Channel. After exploring unique landscapes—such as the magnificent Diego Suarez Bay, the astonishing terrain of Ankalan, and the beaches of Nosy Be—you’ll experience a magical moment at sea alongside humpback whales.
Detailed program
Day 1: Antananarivo – Antsiranana (Diego Suárez)
Departure from Antananarivo – Board the flight to Antsiranana (flight time: 2 hours) – Arrive in Antsiranana – Visit “Frenchman’s Mountain” and enjoy the view of Nosy Ronjo Island – Visit the three bays (Dune Bay, Pigeon Bay, and Sakaraba Bay) – City tour.
Day 2: Antsiranana – Joffreville
Departure for Joffreville — A Tour of the Montagne d'Amble National Park
Day 3: Joffreville – Ankaran
Departure for Ankalan – Visit to the Red Tsingi – Arrival in Ankalan
Day 4: Ankarana
Visit Ankalan National Park to see crowned lemurs, chingis, and many other species.
Day 5: Ankana – Ankifi – Nosy Be
Departure for Ankifi – Boat ride from Ankifi to Hell Ville – Watching the sunset at Mont Paso.
Day 6: Nosi Be – Nosi Komba – Nosi Tanikeri – Nosi Be
Departure from Nosy Be – Visit to Nosy Kombé Wildlife Park – Picnic lunch at Nosy Tanikely – Snorkeling at Nosy Tanikely – Return to the hotel
Day 7: Nosi Be – Nosi Iranja – Nosi Be
Departure from Nosi Be – Sightseeing on Nosi Iranja – Snorkeling on Nosi Iranja – Enjoying the white sandy beaches – Picnic lunch on Nosi Iranja – Whale watching available from July through October
