Circuit presentation
This journey takes you from the spectacular landscapes of northern Madagascar to the tranquil islands of the Mozambique Channel. Between the grandiose Diego Suarez Bay, the striking landforms of Ankarana, and the beaches of Nosy Be, you will traverse unique scenery before experiencing a magical moment at sea alongside humpback whales.
Detailed program
DAY 1: Antananarivo – Antsiranana (Diego Suarez)
Departure from Antananarivo – Flight to Antsiranana (2h00) – Arrival in Antsiranana – Visit to Montagne des Français and observation of Nosy Lonjo – Tour of the 3 Bays (Dunes, Pigeons, and Sakalava Bays) – City tour.
DAY 2: Antsiranana – Joffreville
Departure to Joffreville – Excursion in Montagne d'Ambre National Park.
DAY 3: Joffreville – Ankarana
Departure to Ankarana – Visit to the Red Tsingy – Arrival in Ankarana.
DAY 4: Ankarana
Exploration of Ankarana National Park to observe Crowned Lemurs, the Tsingy rock formations, and rich biodiversity.
DAY 5: Ankarana – Ankify – Nosy Be
Departure to Ankify – Boat transfer from Ankify to Hell-Ville – Sunset viewing at Mount Passot.
DAY 6: Nosy Be – Nosy Komba – Nosy Tanikely – Nosy Be
Departure from Nosy Be – Visit to the wildlife park on Nosy Komba – Picnic lunch on Nosy Tanikely – Snorkelling at Nosy Tanikely – Return to the hotel.
DAY 7: Nosy Be – Nosy Iranja – Nosy Be
Departure from Nosy Be – Excursion to Nosy Iranja – Snorkelling – Relax on the white sandbar – Picnic lunch on Nosy Iranja – Optional whale safari (July to October).
DAY 8: Nosy Be – Antananarivo
Visit to the Ylang-Ylang distillery – Excursion to Lemuria Land – Airport transfer – Flight to Antananarivo (1h45min) – Arrival in Antananarivo.
